MUSEUM OF THE SIX HUNDREDTH ANNIVERSARY OF THE MONASTERY

In the Baroque building of the former carriage house and monastery printing shop, constructed approximately in the years 1620-1658, adjacent to the western curtain wall on one side and looking out into the castle yard on the other, there is the Museum of the six-hundredth Anniversary of the Monastery. In 1082, the interior was partially rebuilt and adapted to the needs of the permanent museum exhibition.  The exhibition, comprising of 3 parts, present the history of the Pauline Order and their presence in Jasna Góra, the veneration of the Miraculous Image of the Mother of God and Jasna Góra as a cultural and artistic centre.
